As the head of Centalized Portfolio Management, Cengizhan Yenerim is responsible for the oversight of centralized commodity risk strategy to protect and enhance the long-term value of ENGIE’s operating and prospective businesses in North America. He also acts as the Chief Data Officer carrying the mission of exploiting ENGIE’s information assets for social, commercial, and business benefit.

Since joining ENGIE in 2007, Cengizhan has served in several roles including corporate strategy, enterprise risk management, quantitative services, regulatory advocacy, wholesale trading, load analytics, pricing, and portfolio management while supporting company’s investments in electricity generation, retail, natural gas and LNG.

Cengizhan also holds a board position at the Green Button Alliance which is an industry-led effort to respond to a White House call-to-action to provide society with easy access to their energy usage data.

Cengizhan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Master of Arts in Energy and Earth Resources from University of Texas at Austin. Cengizhan resides in Houston, TX with his wife and two children.
