As Associate General Manager, Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Executive, Kelly Barr is responsible for Corporate Services – Human Resources; Environmental Services & Sustainability; Supply Chain, Transportation and Flight Services; Facilities & MCM Services, and Corporate Services Analytics and Information. Corporate Services provides valued, sustainable solutions for SRP’s internal customers and plans, designs, constructs, and maintains SRP’s many power and water assets.

In 2017, Kelly was recognized by AZ Business Magazine as one of the Most Influential Women in Arizona. As an active leader on professional, technical, and community boards, she currently serves on the Boards of the City of Phoenix’s Environmental Quality and Sustainability Commission, which is committed to protecting and improving the City’s environmental quality; the Arizona Audubon, which works to protect birds and other wildlife and conserve and restore natural ecosystems; Arizona Forward, which brings business and civic leaders together to promote cooperative efforts to improve the environmental sustainability and economic vitality of our state and local regions; and Arizona Theatre Company, which shares the passion of the theatre through a wide array of outreach programs, educational opportunities, access initiatives, and community events. She also is a member of the Arizona Women’s Forum – a group that advances women’s leadership and connects women of significant and diverse achievement; the American Public Power Association’s CEO Climate Change and Generation Policy Task Force; and the Electric Power Research Institute’s (EPRI) Energy & Environment Executive Advisory Committee.

From 2016-2018, Kelly served as Senior Director, Environmental Management and Chief Sustainability and Compliance Executive. From 2011-2016, she served as Senior Director, Environmental Management, Policy and Compliance and also served as Deputy Legal Executive. In this role, she supported SRP’s Chief Legal Executive. From 1998-2011, she served as Assistant Corporate Counsel and Manager of Regulatory Policy and Affairs. From 1992-1998, Kelly served as Attorney/Legislative Counsel.

Kelly holds a Juris Doctorate (JD), magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Arizona, with High Distinction and Honors (Phi Beta Kappa). She started her career at Jennings, Strouss, and Salmon and joined SRP in 1992.
