Michael Conklin

Michael Conklin has served as External Engagement Manager for CenterPoint Energy, an energy delivery company with regulated utility businesses in eight states and competitive energy businesses in nearly 40 states, since early 2019. He is responsible for leading stakeholder engagement and coordination on eMobility initiatives across CenterPoint Energy’s footprint. Mr. Conklin is a founding member of EVolve Houston, a growing public private partnership driving the electrification of transportation in the Greater Houston Area. Before joining CenterPoint Energy as External Engagement Manager, Mr. Conklin previously served as a lead analyst of Strategic Planning and M&A during the CenterPoint Energy’s 2018 acquisition of Vectren Corporation. He previously served in positions managing CenterPoint Energy’s weather-hedging programs and providing risk management support for CenterPoint Energy Services’ gas trading operations.
