Omaya Ahmad is a Sustainability Policy Consultant at Arizona Public Service. She advises on social and governance policy and strategy for sustainability as APS advances its clean energy commitments. With an exit from coal imminently approaching, Omaya plays an integral role in APS’s stakeholder engagement and planning for community transitions. Prior to her current role, Omaya was part of APS’s federal and state regulation organizations, working on regional transmission planning and the company’s previous rate case. Omaya holds a PhD in Sustainability and a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University.
